Christi Penderson AFH Consultant
Christi started with Aging and Long-Term Support Administration (ALTSA) in 2007. She began her work as an Adult Protective Services Investigator and later became a Case Manager where she conducted client assessments to determine the daily Medicaid rate for residents who were residing in adult family homes (AFH). In 2012 she became a licensor for AFHs and later became the AFH Policy Program Manager and eventually became the Policy Unit Manager where she oversaw policy development for all long-term care facilities. In 2017 she became a Labor Manager where she was involved in the collective bargaining process for both in-home and AFH providers. She joined the Proactive Solutions team in February of 2022 because she wanted to use her comprehensive knowledge of the long-term care system to better support providers and ultimately the residents they serve
